About 30% of all small businesses are owned by women, and the availability of capital is an essential in their success. Entrepreneurs Sleeping Less Than 6 Hours   
A recent study by Manta.com revealed that over 60% of small business owners had a successful 2012 – and nearly 80% anticipated a similarly profitable 2013. While the ongoing debt ceiling crisis has some respondents considering possible freezes on new hires and salary raises, 65% of survey respondents expect to hire additional employees in the first quarter of 2013. Rosy hiring outlooks or not, the cost of running a business in today’s economy is taking its toll; close to 70% of those surveyed work 41 to 70 hours per week, while 37% are getting by on less than six hours of sleep.

82% of Small Business Executives Think the U.S. Economy is on the Wrong Track
The results are in! According to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Q4 Small Business Outlook Survey, there is concern among business owners about the state of the U.S. economy and the well-being of small businesses. Only 16% of small business owners hired more employees in 2012 and 17% indicated that they plan to add employees in 2013.
