If
you lack or need funds or materials to fulfill customer's order, P.O.
Funding will help.
Purchase Order Funding may also be viewed as pre-delivery
financing which provides advance payment or guarantee to a supplier
in order to enable a business to meet production and fulfill customer's
needs.
How does it work?
A Purchase Order (P.O.) is an agreement or requisition from a buyer
to a seller to provide goods or services. A typical P.O. would list
the amount of goods or services needed and the terms and conditions
of delivery and payment. When a business receives an order for a
product or service, it galvanizes its resources to fill the order.
Occasionally, a business may be unable to complete an order because
it lacks the required materials or the money to acquire them. In
this case, P.O. Funding can be very helpful.
Our clients use it to secure capital and/or guarantees in the form
of Letter Of Credit (LOC) to acquire goods or services in order
to fulfill their customer's orders. Our preferred minimum is one
hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) or higher in P.O. with a fair
gross margin of twenty five percent (25%) or more to our client.
With the exception of Building Contractors, our Purchase Order
Funding is available to virtually all businesses. The following
are some general requirements for P.O. Funding that applies to most
industries:
You must be a registered business.
Sell to reputable and credit-worthy customers.
Have non-cancelable Purchase Order.
Funds or Letter Of Credit will be payable directly to your supplier.
Your product or service should have a wide market and not sold
on consignment.
It's preferred that the P. O. is for finished goods.
In most cases, Purchase Order Funding may cost more than traditional
financing and may be harder to acquire especially by small and new
businesses. However, it is attainable if you meet the above general
criteria.
To obtain Purchase Order Funding, simply submit
an application along with the appropriate supporting documents
and references. Much like our other funding programs, where you
are located is irrelevant as long as you're within our market area.
